The American Citizen Services (ACS) unit of the Consular section provides information and assistance to U.S. citizens in Turkmenistan. Please refer to the menu on the left for information about the services provided.

In the case of a life or death emergency involving a U.S. citizen call (993 12) 35 00 45. 

The Consular Section is open for American Citizens services every Monday through Friday, excepting holidays, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM or by appointment.

Optional Supplemental Post Registration Form: click here to download. This link opens a blank form in Word that you can edit, save and send to to the Consular Section by email: consularashgab@state.gov. Consular Section does not need passport copies anymore.

The Consular Section now accepts credit cards as payment for services. The five credit cards accepted are Visa, Master Card, American Express, Diners Club, and Discover. If a credit card transaction cannot be completed, cash must still be payed for services.
