U.S. Embassy Ashgabat Announces the “Sport against Drugs” Small Grant Program

The United States Embassy in Ashgabat announces the “Sport against Drugs” Small Grant Program for sports unions, federations and organizations of Turkmenistan to implement projects and activities designed to draw interest among youth and adults into sports and a healthy lifestyle. Small grants will be available for the sports organizations and groups to organize sporting events, competitions, shows, workshops and other public activities. Selection of grant recipients will be based on the effectiveness of proposed projects to promote sports and increase awareness among young people and adults about the harmful effects of narcotics.
