U.S. Embassy Expresses its Condolences to Danilov's Family

Ashgabat, January 30, 2007 – The U.S. Embassy in Ashgabat announces that it will be closed on January 30, 2007 between 11:30 and 13:30 in order to allow staff to attend the funeral of embassy driver, Alexander Danilov.  Mr. Danilov died tragically, while on assignment for the U.S. Embassy in an automobile accident between Dashoguz and Ashgabat on Saturday, January 27.  The embassy extends it sincerest condolences to the Danilov family and expresses its sincere appreciation for Mr. Danilov's dedication and professionalism during his 15 years of employment with the Embassy of the United States of America.
