President Bush Sends Gurban Bairam Holiday Wishes

President George W. Bush sent the following letter to the People of Turkmenistan, on the occasion of the Muslim holiday of the Gurban Bairam:

To the People of Turkmenistan:
On behalf of the American people, I extend our best wishes on the occasion of Kurban Bairam. This is an important holiday for Muslims around the globe, and we wish all the best to the Turkmen people, Muslims and Non-Muslims alike. It is our hope that the friendship between our peoples will continue to grow in the next year.
