Visiting U.S. Professor Donates Books to University

U.S. professor Louis Petrich has just completed a series of lectures and seminars on American Studies for faculty and students of Magtymguly Turkmen State University and Azadi World Languages Institute. As part of his program, he has generously donated numerous books on American literature, art and history to these educational institutions.
Mr. Petrich, a Fulbright Scholar, is currently a professor at the American University in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, where he teaches American literature, art and history and works to develop the professional skills of the faculty. The Fulbright Program gives U.S. professors the opportunity to teach various disciplines in foreign countries, as well as for scholars from other countries to travel to the United States and carry out research projects.
