Open Competition for the 2010
Foreign William J. Fulbright Master’s Degree Student Program

The Fulbright Program provides opportunities for outstanding Turkmen graduates and mid career professionals to pursue studies in a two-year master’s degree program beginning in academic year 2010-2011.  US Embassy accepts applications in all disciplines and fields. Preference will be given to candidates who have not studied in the U.S.

Candidates should possess:

• a university degree by August 2010;
• proficiency in English appropriate to enroll and study as a graduate student at a university in the United States.  All candidates will need to take a TOEFL exam with a minimum 550 score received on paper based test.
• Work experience in the proposed filed of study is preferred.
