The Turkmenistan Gas Congress will explore the vast potential for the development of Turkmenistan's gas resources, discuss international cooperation and highlight the opportunities for direct foreign investment in the development of the national and regional gas industry.
Turkmenistan's gas industry has been rapidly growing for the last 50 years with the most notable achievements made in the years since its independence. Over the last two decades, rapid advancements have been made in infrastructure development, processing and transportation of natural gas, introduction of advanced technology and personal training. As a result, production volumes of natural and liquefied gas have been steadily increasing. There are currently in excess of 30 gas fields under development with the majority of Turkmenistan's gas reserves are concentrated in the east of the country. TGC will once again attract the leaders of the oil & gas community and address the issues facing the industry today.

8th Turkmenistan Telecommunications & IT Conference

The Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, in collaboration with Summit Trade Events Ltd are organising the 8th International Conference on Telecommunications, Telemetry and Information Technology, TurkmenTEL 2014, in Ashgabat, 17-18 September, 2014. The eighth Turkmenistan International Telecommunications and IT Conference, TurkmenTEL 2014, will bring together 250 delegates to discuss intergovernmental cooperation and the opportunities for international investment in the development of the Turkmenistan’s Information and Communication Technology Industry.
TurkmenTEL 2014 is intended to familiarise both foreign and local delegates with current status as well as future prospects for the development of information and communication sector of Turkmenistan. The Government’s policy is aimed at supporting international and regional cooperation in the ICT sector. Telecommunications industry is inextricably linked to other important industries and sectors of Turkmenistan’s economy and the modernisation of communications and compliance with international standards and technology standards is a priority policy for Turkmenistan.
TurkmenTEL 2014 will provide a platform for strengthening regional and global cooperation in the ICT sector and provide telecommunications community the opportunity to meet and discuss issues key to the successful development of communication and information technologies, to exchange know-how, to determine the shape cooperation and investment opportunities. The leaders of the communications industry, representatives of governmental organizations and the well-known companies of foreign countries and Turkmenistan will deliver meaningful reports and presentations.
6th Turkmenistan Investment Forum

6th Turkmenistan Investment Forum is organised by Chamber of Commerce of Turkmenistan and Summit Trade Events Ltd (UK). This event is initiated by the President of Turkmenistan in 2009 and supported by the government of Turkmenistan and the Cabinet of Ministers. Forum will take place on 1-2 October 2014 in Avaza, Turkmenistan. The aim of the conference is to highlight investment opportunities in the development of the national economy, develop effective international partnerships and provide participants with up to date information on the Government’s direct foreign investment promotion strategy and the current business climate in Turkmenistan.
TURKMENISTAN INVEST 2014 will focus on the following sectors: Agriculture, Banking & Financial Services, Chemicals, Communications, Construction, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Minerals, Oil & Gas, Power, Renewables, Textiles and Transport.
